For the record, I'm not military. But I spent the year bush flying in a warzone (Eastern Congo), sleeping under a tent in the jungle, eating **** and getting shot at daily. So yeah, when I read about bad QOL, I take it with a grain of salt. (e.g. 15 vs 18 days off per month... Don't think I even had that many days off in 6 months!).

EDV claims that FO first and second year rates are $50 and $59+ per hour. What's it like at Envoy?

Also, how many hours can a LGA based FO credit on average? I intend to pickup as much OT as I can... Just trying to figure what my paycheck would look like. NYC ain't cheap.
I hear where your coming from, I came from a much harder work environment where I got around 1-2 days off a month. When I heard guys complaining about 11 days off that sounded like paradise. But it's just a different and in some ways worst kind of suck, ill explain: you like to hustle, you like to get **** done, work hard, get paid. Reserve is a special kind of hell for guys like us. Your gonna be sitting airport standby for 8 hour shifts all month doing nothing. NOTHING. this is way better if you live in base, but still sucks. i.e. reserve rules matter, time to a line matters. Also realize that when we talk about days off we're really talking about days you could pick up open time. So if one regional averages 13 days off (envoy) and another averages more like 15 (endeavor) that could easily translate to $1000 in additional open time. It's not just a day off.
