What it should not be is your only resource when you prep. The process is so competitive now that one should also get professional prep.
Just because you got away with a bad idea doesn't mean it's good advice. John Daly smokes and drinks to excess but is a professional athlete, just because he can doesn't mean I'm going to recommend his training schedule to youngsters!
Anyway, it's FINE to read that website but just take it with a grain of salt and focus on the professional help!
