You seem to forget that part of the union's job is to take care of contract violations for us. You don't have to go to infinity and beyond to see that 11 days off violates the contract to our detriment.
I appreciate the company's transparency with the troubles with the software vendor, but 12 days off is 12 days off, not 11. Reserves should grieve that contract violation and let the union do their job.
I don’t feel like wasting my precious days off filling out a grievance and doing work stuff. Be happy with your pay increase. Unlike what other people believe, I DONT work for mainline and I DONT “basically do the same job” as them. I’m happy with what I have and I understand with all these changes it takes time to implement them. I don’t see the big conspiracy against us I guess.
