The answer is pretty simple. The Company did know it was a bad idea, this was made apparent week after week in staffing meetings.
But TSH and more specifically Adam Timperly wanted to reduce the over staffed situation in the spring. In fact they even wanted to have Compass furlough but Compass management refused to do so and as a result AT decided to cancel all new hire classes in the spring. See this is what I'm saying doesn't make sense. The cost of an overstaffed compass is way lower than just a few months of 17.5k bonuses. I don't know what business would allow a guy like AT ( if he's truly at fault) to remain employeed after losing so much money and possibly losing future contracts.
