Civilian OTS is probably 10% +/- of the total hiring.
One of the Big 3 hired 92% of their new hires from 121 operators. That was 2%, or more, of their hiring from each company. 1% and less was 26% companies that supplied 8% of their new hires. They didn’t mention how many of that 8% were, or weren’t, 121/135/91.
I think another Big 3 airline at one point said 86% of their new hires had 121 time.
So if you’re civilian with no 121 time you might be in s very small pool.
