upgrade
There hasn’t been DFW captain slots for at least the last 2 bids .. are they that fat on pilots?
My dilemma: currently, DFW CRJ FO. Would like to stay w/ CRJ because it’s more familiar than learning a new plane for upgrade.
And, in DFW I can hold a line way quicker than IAD or PHX.
Should I bid for SDF or IAD or even PHX to try to get into upgrade class, then bid back to DFW when the opportunity arises?
Or wait until next month’s bid?
Or... go to the E-jet? I know it’d be biting off a lot more, and I know the classes from last August have yet to even get into sims. So, it’d be awhile. However I’d hold a line nearly immediately and I know the schedules are way more efficient.
Debating what is best... thoughts?
