Plus, as mentioned before, since 2017 is over, it shows that our contract is overdue - not that we're defeated. I'm not really sure how you come to that conclusion as it's a negotiation...since it didn't happen in 2017 like the lanyard states that means it's not gonna happen ever? Defeat, to me, is not wearing the lanyard at all. You're just one more person who isn't "showing" solidarity (despite how much you say you're down for the cause). Plus, I'd rather have the union spend my dues on getting me a new contract instead of another 1200 or so lanyards.

Just difference of opinion. Either way, we're both in the same boat and on the same team.
The lanyards are a symbol. Anyone simple enough to get wrapped around the axle about what's written on them, simply doesn't get it. I love seeing these fukktards walking around not even wearing one. "It's too tight, I don't like Orange-it makes me look fat, my kid gave me this Star Wars lanyard, I like to show my support for the Cleveland Browns or Denver Mules, I'm an A-350 fan" and on and on.

There's always going to be a contention of people that don't get it. Unfortunately at Frontier, we seem to have more than our fair share of them. Give these people sh!t when you see them. 98% of us don't volunteer to help the cause, at least we can wear a lanyard showing support for the 2% that do.
