Any info about the quality of life on those bases.
And now a technical question. What's the criteria Ameriflight uses to choose between Metro/1900/Brasilia for a specific route?. Just range/capacity?

I don't now about the ONT route as it is pretty new and I've never flown it.
The two out of BFI are pretty good. Since the base is on the west coast, the return times for all runs are pretty early compared to DFW or CVG.
The 120 runs reposition empty on Monday afternoon to bring freight in at night, getting to BFI around 1830L. One run covers Yakima and Walla Walla. The other goes to Pasco. In the morning, you would show about 0530 and depart around 0700. Both runs get their legal rest at night but the company still covers the hotels in Pasco and Walla Walla.
The decision as to which aircraft is normally assigned to a run is determined by the contract with the customer (UPS, FedEx or DHL.) Some times a downgrade may be required because of pilot or aircraft availability or lack thereof. Also, there are times when the customer may request an upgrade on a run if it is available to deal with extra freight.
