Can't argue with that. Logically you are right on target. But everyman has his own indulgence(s): Cadillac vs Chevy, David Clark vs Telex, Luggageworks vs Costco, Scott Flight Case vs OfficeMax, Mont Blanc vs Bic, Johnnie Walker Blue vs Red, Neiman Marcus vs Foleys...you get the idea.
FWIW-I drive an old '88 pickup, wear blue jeans til they wear out, and use disposable plastic pens/pencils in the jet...but damned if I don't have a good hack on my Breitling!
