You could be six months or less from losing your medical. Our current contract pays you for 2 yrs and then you are screwed so I hope you have other skills and it was capped at $10k which was hard to get with our current pay rates. Now it would go to a $15k cap and is paying til 65. That’s a big big deal. Bendo was willing to give it before but wanted to steal it from healthcare. We got both.
We are so exposed to eternal stagnation with our current scope it’s not even funny. I’m hoping we got big gains there. These were the main topics and pbs over the last few months

Southwest and Delta were at much higher pay and bennies already so turning it down wasn’t as big a risk.
Who knows when next 911 or economic downturn or merger while we dick around for a how much more.
