Do you honestly think that Delta and United are going to continue making money for ever and ever? Eventually there will be a concession. That's when the playing field will equalize. For now, it seems as though the numbers released today by the Spirit MEC create sustainability and offer large increases from the current agreement. Isn't that the point??
Legacy pilots will eventually have to drop their drawers, as they always have, to re-stabilize and establish the new baseline. History repeats. It's shortsighted to say Spirit will never catch up, more likely to ponder is how long can the Legacy's hold on to what they have. poof
