Apparently you weren’t there when they agreed to 30% in concessions while these Spirit pilots raised the bar by going on strike and being paid more than anyone in the industry at the time.

Here’s a UAL reminder for you:

“The 8,800 pilots would also take pay cuts of 30 percent from their salary at the end of last year under the agreement. They would receive annual raises of 1.5 percent, starting in 2006. The new contract begins on May 1 and lasts for six years.”
