It would seem that pilots are almost enabling this pay issue, by a certain percentage that do or don’t check pay. If this is a systemic issue, than it needs to be addressed at the root cause. Which starts with payroll. Pilots should NOT have to be accountants on their days off. We already do a lot of unpaid work outside the cockpit. And this issue isn’t really difficult. We get paid by the parking brake. Yes, there are a few variations on this theme but any 3rd grader should figure this out.
