With PBS, it’ll attempt to built you a schedule within certain credit hours. You can ask for any schedule / days off you want. However, if you do not waive your 4 days off requirement, the only way it can generate a schedule for you is most likely be a 5/6on 4off type schedule, disregarding your days off requests in order to built you something within its credit requirement. Sure you’ll get your 4 days off, but it’s meaningless because PBS will not built you a transition conflict, and depends on your previous month’s schedule, your 5/6on 4off schedule pattern will already be determined.

So if you want any say in your schedule at all, you basically will have to waive the 4 days off requirement.
