The value of living in base is getting diminished by the forced upgrades at Envoy. The pay at Endeavor seems to out weigh living in base at Envoy.
Yep. I chose Envoy for the benefit of living at base and advertised flow time over the substantial financial benefit of Endeavor and Republic at the time (Spring 2016). But at that time every FO was getting DFW 175. If you take the benefit of not commuting out of the equation, there really isn't any reason to go envoy right now under most circumstances.
Basically what happened is we expanded too much too quickly. The company apparently wants a large presence in LGA. According to Ric's email (take that with a grain of salt), by May LGA will have the largest 145 fleet. Problem with that is obvious...Endeavor and Republic also have LGA bases and anyone wanting LGA as a base would be crazy to choose Envoy over those two right now. That leads to the situation we have now where we have to force people into 145 LGA.
