Not all of us hold the seniority to bid conflicts and If we do not all of us want to sacrifice the entire month to hit a conflict.
Effective rate argument is Not always the best one either You have no idea what your “effective” rate will be in the future and dont forget, you can easily have a high “effective” rate and still have a woefully low W2.
I can easily see why in your situation you would vote no but its pretty ignorant for you to shake your head and wonder why some CAs in the 4,5,6 yr range might want to vote yes, especially those who bid RSV and never credit over 72hrs or line holders who dont get TXR and just fly their line.
Very easy to see why they would vote yes
