The IACP made it clear, no contract would be signed with that person in a position of authority and/or leadership over the CAL pilots. Essentially, we held flight ops hostage, and brought the issue to the attention of Gordon Bethune. Gordon had to make a choice, keep her, promote her, send her back to the line, or retire her.

She was retired. Got a large pay out.
Couple of errors in your timeline. It was Fall of 04 right after Gordon left and Keller became CEO. Remember no concessions could be demanded under Gordo’s watch as he left and tarnish his reputation. Gordon had nothing to do with Debbie’s demise (at least directly) One of the first things Kellner did was fire Debbie (to appease Jay Panerallo), the second was demand concessions or we would go CH 11. Also we were ALPA then, IACP - ALPA merger was June 2001.
