I disagree. It was before that. 1998. As I recall, Bill Borelli said no to Debbie. There was definitely a transition period Bethune-Kellner, and Borelli (IACP), Panarello-ALPA-Pierce-ALPA.
I reckon it don't matter. Point is: Pilots wouldn't work for DL any more, and union was sick and tired of dealing with the daily drama.
