That being said, if you are not satisfied with the deal, please don't vote yes out of fear of the unknown. A lot of people are trying to scare us about the unknowns of voting no. Sure, there are a lot of negative things that COULD happen if we vote it down. But that is exactly what the company wants you to think about since it distracts you from how pathetic this offer is. They can't wait forever for a deal. They already said they won't confirm an aircraft order until the pilot contract is nailed down. They need this too, so find a little courage deep down inside yourself, and vote no if you aren't satisfied after reading the TA. I know it's scary, but we are professionals and we shouldn't vote a deal in unless it compensates us accordingly. Don't sell your soul to the devil! If we vote yes and lock ourselves in to near-bottom rates, this contract will end only two years into the next aircraft order. Chances are the company will have years after that before there is any pressure from needing a new order. We could easily be stuck with this deal for 8 years or more. To me, that is scarier than any unknown of voting no. I believe we have used up all of our leverage unless we vote no.
