Its a nebulous system that may or may not pay you more for getting rerouted. Very few seem to understand it, and they frequently apply the "deny deny deny" strategy of Big Insurance even when it is applicable knowing that even if you finally prove you're owed it, all they have to do is pay what they were supposed to pay all along, and you just might end up forgetting or letting it go.
In any case, I"m assuming you're contemplating invoking the "me too" clause?
