You are right. We have the worst profit margins in the industry, but we managed to make $3.5B pre-tax earnings in 2017. Just think how much that will be when our margins improve. Even with poor management, United makes money hand over fist. Just think how much it will be when margins improve. We have more potential than any other airline out there.
