At JPMorgan, good morning, everybody. A question on the pilots, I mean, we have a new contract at Alaska, albeit an arbitrated one. We have an agreement in principle with Spirit. It kind of feels like we know where the market is for aviator wages at least for the more growth oriented airlines like JetBlue, obviously. So would I be mistaken then to assume that you're in the final stretch and we should be modeling for new contract this year?

Hi, Jamie. Good morning, I’ll take that. I'm not – I won't – we're not going to sort of negotiate in public. We've already gave much indication of where we are, just to say that ports continued under mediation. I think the both sides are working through the process. We're working – we've very good faith, in fact, there were discussions going on this week.

And I'm very – we all are – we are very proud of the JetBlue pilot air community. But the difference between where we are and the other airlines is that this is our first contract. This is something that we are building from scratch and so it's not just a question of sort of amending a contract and looking at – its actually every single page has to be…

Okay.

Positive or just corporate speak?
Snarkfest,

This is 110% corporate double-talk and mind control. They are doing an excellent job of mind-screwing because many people still have sympathy for their corporate overlords who continue to screw them over.

So, there is absolutely nothing positive about it. In fact, you should not think anything positive until after a respectable contract is *signed*. They have had years and years of making wide profit margins at the expense of stealing deserved wages from pilots (not to mention other employees).

"Good will", "very good faith", "proud of pilots" -- yeah yeah.... There's no such pleasantries in the way BJ does business. You should see the way they persecute pilots. They hate pilots. Anyone remember "3A"? It seems the pilot group was right but a kangaroo court ruled in favor of BJ. This is business, not love play. They hate pilots. "building from scratch" - no they're not. There are many drag and drop contracts in the industry. We're not doing anything different than anyone else. Are we going to the moon in spaceships? How is it that it took engineers and scientists less time to figure out how to land mankind on the moon than it has to finish a simple airline contract?

BJ can "talk" all they want but only results matter.
Look guys, every minute you spend waiting for a contract, BJ lines their pockets and executives' golden parachutes. You are missing out on hundreds of thousands of dollars across your career. The most responsible thing BJ could do right now is pay their pilots what they are worth by industry standards while providing work rules (contract) commensurate the profession.

Remember, if it's not a signed contract, it's smoke and mirrors.
