So, the answer might be "nobody knows." You're hoping for NQAT...Non Qualified Awaiting Training. Assuming you provide 30 days notice of your return, you'll get paid 1/30th of the ALV per day starting on your return date for every day you sit awaiting training. It seems most MLOA return folks see less than 10 of these days, some get none at all and travel to training on the day they return to active status.

And remember, that guy junior to you isn't scheduled for anything, just projected. Until it's on his schedule, that plan is in jello and they can easily put you in that slot (or an earlier one)...or delay you both.
Great advice. Only out for 90ish days, so I’ll be ready for anything I guess.
