I'm not a burn it down guy Southerner, but you're literally saying you think you know better than our MEC, SPSC, and all the resources we have at ALPA National.

I myself maintained the positive vibe as the MEC message indicated progress. That's over. We're in a labor dispute. The company is not going to give us a MARKET RATE contract without pilot group involvement. They indicated as much to us when they themselves sent us an email saying they thought a proposal within a percentage point below Alaska's arbitrated rates was acceptable.

An example for you: Southwest picketed 3 times before they got their contract. The first one had a few hundred participants. The next have 7-800. The last, ~1200. The got a contract 1 week after that last picket. Showing up to the rally's, pickets, wearing your lanyard show's them all this frustration isn't among just a few select members of the pilot group.

So, are you happy with the progress of negotiations? Are you happy with substandard work rules and pay rates?
