The only thing you are missinig is a lot of that stated profit is also generated by thousands of “Delta Connection” pilots. Put them into the mix and your number goes way down. I get what you are saying, but on a pure pilot basis your number is way off.

I think if we hired hotter flight attendants we could charge more for tickets. Therefore the ability of the company to pay us more might be directly correlated to the average FA hotness. Bet ya never thought of that metric.
