This is current book and many call it trip averaging which is not a correct term because trip averaging is something different

Point being it’s not block or better on a LEG BY LEG basis.

Ex:
FLL to LGA to FLL. If you come in 20 over block on FLL to LGA then come in 19min under block LGA to FLL. You get a grand total of 1 min over block for that duty period instead of the 20 min I’m due.

Regional airlines don’t even do this. It’s theft! Not to mention it doesn’t incentivize an on time operation. It makes me protect the over block I made on the prior leg by slowing down if I’m not on a “rigged trip”

Seriously wtf
Not a Spirit guy (B6 here) but I've been skimming through this TA and can't believe how much BS is in it. How did the negotiating committee even allow this? The above quoted is absolutely ridiculous and you're 100% correct, not even regionals pull that crap. Hope the majority of guys don't just focus on hourly pay (Which is still low for the industry anyways) and read the fine print.

Good luck guys, I hope you guys get what you truly deserve!
