It will be no better than the set of conditions you’re under now, except in the year 2025 or 2026. For those who make it to Spirit around the age of 33 and plan to retire at age 65, 8 years under the next contract will be 25% of your entire career. I wouldn’t be in a huge hurry to start that 8 year clock on a painful “fly it and grieve it” contract. Whackmaster is right, don’t sacrifice your leverage.
