The company wants a contract. They do not need it badly and they are not desperate but it does affect pilot recruitment and aircraft acquisition. If they can get us to sign the existing TA they get all that and more.

The truth is that most people are voting no due to sections 1 and 25. Either the company is really planning to screw us over and needs these concessions or they are considered nice to haves and they are more focused on other stuff.

If we vote this thing down the issues in sections 1 and 25 should be a quick fix and we have a new TA in 90 days. If the company refuses to modify the language then we know that they intend to screw us and signing the existing TA would be stupid. Either way voting no reveals the truth.
