I'll take a crack at that:

I trust the NC and MEC, who are more familiar with this TA than the vast majority of line pilots, who've voted unanimously in favor.

The mediator felt that Spirit could not afford to pay more, and mediators do hold a lot of power

Spirit profitability goes down 35% with this deal.

It costs the company 49% more than our current contract.

The average pay raise is 43%, and I don't believe that takes into account the DC, meaning I can keep at least some percentage that was going into my 401K and have an even higher take home pay.

I realize some of the negatives. I currently bid reserve and will often drop a middle day. But as a whole this contract has a lot of substantial gains. And I'm not willing to wait an unknown amount of time for what might be a few more minimal gains.
