Well, for those on the ERJ concerned about being bumped out of a seat, the layman terms of the agreement is out. Probably the first good news CRJ pilots have had for a while.
Any pay protected CRJ pilot who flows over to the ERJ side will be pay protected on the ERJ side while flying in the right seat as long as they have bid in for left seat. In addition, any FO flowing over to the ERJ side who is senior to the most junior ERJ captain will be pay protected as long as they have a bid in for left seat. Protects those ERJ pilots already in the left seat, pay protects CRJ pilots moving over.
This should make most (but certainly not all), of both sides happy. Going to the right seat of the ERJ for a 60% pay cut was a no-go and would mean pretty much 100% attrition. I think most of us don't mind flying right seat as long as there is some pay protection.
Also, any LASA pilots transitioning to the ERJ side will get retirement pass benefits after one year as long as they meet certain longevity requirements at LASA/XJT.
Finally news that is not negative.
