I think the brutal truth is Tokyo is less attractive. Korean Air will take care of Delta's coverage of SE Asia via our agreement and via ICN.
Not to mention that the HND flying is to service Tokyo, not connect with SE Asia, so every flight there is more to just establish consistent business service to the city of Tokyo and Narita hub will fade into the past.
