I've been to Dubai 7 or 8 times and know the area enough to get around. Where are the pilots and their families living? Surely not in the houses bordering the golf courses?!? If my memory serves me correctly, the apartments around town are for the "contract" workers. Just curious.

I would go to Dubai on vacation or to even live anytime. I love that place. Hotter than any other place I've been but great shopping and eating. If you get a chance you have to go to the JW Marriott (I'm pretty sure that's the place). They have a German bar where the employee's dress in traditional German attire. There's nothing like seeing a middle-easterner wearing a "yodelahehoo" outfit, LMAO. Great golf too. Played both courses and prefer the Montgomery.
