I believe there was a case a few months ago where a 90 some year old lady was dragged out of her house for not being able to pay.
Obviously extreme cases, but I’m just making a point that you are a renter of land from the government. You never truly own your land here.
And here I thought that your home was sold at auction with an eviction notice served by the Sherriff. I never knew that swat teams threw flash bangs through the front door and dragged you out by your ear. I think that case in the 90’s you were talking about was David Koresh. :-)
I googled the list of countries. I’m not sure I could live in any of them. But I’d encourage anyone not happy here to give it whirl, maybe a movement can start. Property tax is a small price to pay for living in the US but still, I wish trump never invented them. ;-)
