You totally missed my point. United gave Air Whisky 40 planes because they need the flying done despite how senior/expensive they are. There is no way XJT is as expensive as most other regionals.
Yeah, but Air Whiskey is privately held so they can do things a public company can’t. If a publicly held company doesn’t make a ROI comparable to competitors money leaves. Owners of privately held companies, while having a profit incentive, may have other incentives as well.
