Do NOT quit your job after receiving a TOL. Within the past few months I already know of multiple applicants who did not get their FOL since they did poorly on the checkrides and ended up with an UNSAT. FYI you bust the ride you need to wait 1 year until you can reapply.
Did they change the ride?
One of my friend said it was simple and that he was done with both ground and flight parts in about 1.5.
