Really sad to hear news like this.

I was doing a freight run to KFAR in a 310 out of KANE at about that time. Other than some headwinds aloft, it was a perfect night. Full moon, no clouds, and unlimited vis. I really can't imagine what could have possibly gone wrong short of total flight control failure.
