The bidding 101 is if you don't want it don't bid it, get junior assigned a line that does that to you and they have to adjust the line to give you 7 days off in between the two trips.
Buyer beware....the contract says you cannot be awarded MORE than 17 CONSECUTIVE days without a 7 day break. Their solution is to give you 17 duty days....one day off.....and then another 17 duty days. Their argument is that they have not assigned MORE than 17 consecutive days and thus you are NOT entitled to 7 days between assignments. Ask me how I know....they did this to me. That's how they roll and that is what this company thinks of it pilots.
