I bought the leather jacket and it's worth every dollar I paid for it. I've worn it many times in windy, sub zero temps in DTW and MSP and stay warm. That's even with a short sleeve pilot shirt underneath. It's also waterproof and will last for years.
Allot of guys wear a trenchcoat, which is also warm and cozy, but most airlines require the hat with it.
There's also the pull over sweater with epaulets for cooler weather. Downside to those is no protection from the rain.
