Default Instructing in Ohio

Hey all. As the title says, looking for some input from those who have instructed or used another route to build time in Ohio

A little background: Comm. SEL/MEL with Instrument. Did my private out of 15G in 1999 in Wadsworth, OH then moved to Vero Beach in 2001 and did the rest of my certificates and instrument at FlightSafety. 220 hrs TT, 55ME. However, I have not flown since 2002. Getting back in the saddle and have my 1st appointment with my instructor next week to get current and start my CFI training. This will be all part 61 at a small fbo.

I'm in N. Central Ohio and I'm pretty well stuck here for the time being. Wife has a great paying career and we have 3 kids all in school. I'm 1 hr 20min from Columbus, 1 hr from Akron, and 1 hr from Cleveland. I'd like to get on the radar of a few places now and be ahead of the game. Kent State and Ohio U are hiring instructors, but a Bachelors degree is required and I only have an Associates. If any of you have experience in these parts I would appreciate any insight on places to instruct or other avenues to build time. Thanks in advance.
