Politics, ladies and gents. If you’re looking at this any other way, you’re fooling yourself. There is no logical timeline for politics, so don’t expect any concrete information from the next MEC update.

Our maintenance procedures are starting to become questionable. The latest Maintenance ASAP report (publication) essentially is a reminder/threat of the consequences for mechanics that are signing off work that they have not performed.

Follow FOM VOL I & VOL II to your best ability. That includes holding others accountable for doing their jobs, especially if it is related to safety. If something is broken, don’t hesitate to write it up. Don’t risk your certificate. These management bozos have caused so much turmoil in every facet of our operation that it will be the cause of the next melt-down. And no one will lend a hand to help on their days-off. No illegal work action needed, just show up to work on your scheduled days on and do your job, nothing more and nothing less. At least it should help the time pass.
