Being combative and uncooperative will only hasten that plan. The phrase “cutting off your nose to spite your face” is an apt one in this situation. Of course, some of the most vocal chest-thumpers on this issue don’t work here anymore. It’s easy to suggest a gamble with somebody else’s money, livelihood, family, etc....

Feeling this way doesn’t mean I like it, or agree with it. I just have a strong sense of self preservation.
