I had some issues in my background that came out with prior businesses, so lets just say I won't be invited back for a while. But back to the topic, the whole "my kids gotta eat" attitude is the exact attitude of scabs. Just ask any scab why they crossed a picket line and you will hear, my family, my kids, no money, blah blah blah. The funny thing is we all have a family to feed. But we also have to stand our ground and not devalue ourselves any less. Any by not demanding more, we are taking a pay cut with every passing year. (inflation)
If there were a hypothetical strike vote tomorrow I would truly hope we would have upwards of 99% of members willing to strike. I would hope every pilot starts squirreling away at least 4-6 months of living expenses in case that day comes. So we don't have the "my kids gotta eat" people bending over for the company.
