That would be nice but unfortunately, it is my understanding that only the NMB http://www.nmb.gov/mediation/faq-mediation.html can release us to self help. It would be nice if we could get a fair contract without a strike but at this point it seems like a strike may be the only way to make management understand that we will not settle for anything less than a fair contract. I think that management is making a big mistake in presuming that this pilot group can be intimidated or divided. We will stick together, support our MEC, remain professional and hold out for a fair contract.
