Yeah I don’t think it will be commonplace. For one there are monetary incentives for us to be rescheduled, so many of us will pick up our phone (and call them back). But secondly, they can already reschedule you with a delay if 15 min. They could be doing this every day with that stipulation because they have the power to make the delay.
I’m hoping someday that when we find ourselves in an irop (which is the only time this section will be used), that we want to help the company get back on track. Our incentive being “we care about our company”. Poor management practices have made us the opposition. They can talk about “team members” all they want, but when they can’t even properly book hotels and transportation for us (and fa’s), and then are in no hurry to rectify the situation when it is 11pm after a 10 hour day,
then there will continue to be divisiveness. Why go the extra mile when the employees around you can’t even do their simple job? It’s not a big deal, except for the fact that you need them to do their job so you can do yours.
