Based on Wikipedia the CS100 is 20 million more per jet compared to the E2. I don’t think versatility and efficiency of the C-series can make up that difference in the lifetime of the plane. But that’s my very uneducated look at the issue. Also say we went with the C-series how do we unload the 20 190’s we have on order? Nobody wants those.
And they don’t care about on time, so it won’t matter that it’s another Embraer and will be broken constantly like the last one.
