Sorry...but I don’t think SWA has the same prestige and I consider them a stepping stone. One could easily make a career out of SWA but for me I would much rather be flying for UAL, DAL or AMR. My checking account, my savings accounts, my retirement accounts, my W-2's wholeheartedly disagree with you. In addition, some of us don't need to fly a widebody to feel good about our career as a number of us have probably flown to far more international destinations prior to coming to Southwest than a legacy pilot ever will.
