I think you need to re-read the post I replied to.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting a different career. Some folks prefer cargo, others like corporate, some like the widebody flying while others prefer not to deal with jet lag or fly at night...
But when you come across all smug saying how SWA is a stepping stone and one’s career being a disappointment, my reply stands for the reasons I already mentioned. I’m one of the living proofs that living in domicile at Southwest is a very lucrative proposition, and I’d suspect the same with any major airline.
Bottom line - expressing a preference is one thing. Unfoundedly crapping on another one to make your point is another.
