Those early shows are frequent at TYS unless you bid around them or SAP out of them.

1-hour SCR at TYS means you either commute in every day and basically put yourself on hot reserve, or find a crash pad. If you can realistically drive to CLT, park, and get through security in under 2 hours, that would be your best bet. Otherwise, which one gets you on LCR or better the quickest?

I love driving, but I hate driving I-40 at night from TYS to AVL. If you've never done it, I highly recommend doing it on a nice wet/windy night to see if you want to do it every day/week.
