The griping on the DAL threads is often about International flying (and ergo, wide-bodies) being flown by other carriers....
There’s scope at both ends of the spectrum.
My best advice is to dig up the failed JV LOA the CAL NC tried to make the CAL MEC approve in the dark of night in the guise of "furlough mitigation." Read it over and do a risk assessment. It's a back door to scope relief. Maybe it's a front door too.
