How does one really tell how long of a time the wait is to get a domicile? Looking at DEN or PHX domiciles.
DEN : Skywest, TSA, Gojets
PHX: Compass,SkyWest
Trying to reduce commute times. DEN is a 4 hr drive or there are 2 flights a day operated by GoJets to DEN. PHX is easy enough to get to our of Montrose or GJT. Domicile and reduction of commute while on reserve is one of my top priorities.
Figured I would apply to all and go from there but trying to decipher through all the ever changing information to get reliable information. I have read plenty of the "don't go to ____ regional" threads and know that could change in the 4-6 months until application. I will be flying PT135 until I get the time needed.
thanks!
TSA has worked out great for me. Things can always change, but I started Summer 2015, and held DEN as an FO, and now hold it as a CA. I would advise doing your research about G7, and their beginnings. Lots of history there... Skywest (correct me if I'm wrong) has 5 year captains who can't hold DEN.
